Chicago Bears: STATS LLC manager of football products Mitchell Tanney has joined the Chicago Bears organization as director of analytics to help with player evaluations concepts and game situation principles.
San Francisco 49ers: According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the 49ers have signed offensive coordinator Greg Roman to a two-year extension through 2015.
Richmond: Linebackers coach Byron Thweatt has added the title of director of high school relations.
Southern Miss: Head to Head Radio in Mississippi speculates that Georgia associate athletic director Carla Williams will be a strong candidate for the Southern Miss AD position. Also, the Sun-Herald is reporting that Vince Dooley will serve as an advisor to USM during the search, while Bob Beaudine's executive search team will head up the search.
Philadelphia Eagles: Sources tell me that former Orlando Predators and Philadelphia Soul head coach Bret Munsey has accepted a position in the Eagles' scouting department.

Kent State: has an immediate opening for the position of Football Video Coordinator. This position is a 12-month appointment and includes benefits. Applicants should have prior experience in a football video department. Ability to build, organize, and motivate a staff of student workers for filming purposes is imperative. Oregon State: Jacy Macy, who spent the last five years as the head strength coach for the Milwaukee Bucks, is returning to Oregon State as the director of sports performance.
Lake Erie College: Notre Dame assistant AD Reid Guarnieri has accepted the AD position at Lake Erie College.
Newberry College: Newberry offensive line / assistant head coach Cedric Williams will serve an internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program. |
