Big things ahead for CoachingSearch.com

Georgia State: I'm hearing former Youngstown State defensive coordinator Rick Kravitz has emerged as a candidate at Georgia State.

Samford: I have learned that former UAB wide receivers coach Tim Bowens has accepted the same job at Samford.

Lamar University: Woodrow Wilson HS (TX) assistant Larry Kueck has joined the staff on the offensive side of the ball.  Kueck is the former offensive coordinator at several colleges including Marshall and Southern Miss.

Oklahoma State: Van Malone's title will be safeties coach.

Colorado State: Sources tell me that Jim McElwain could go in a number of directions when replacing Tim Duffie.  It could be a defensive line, linebackers, or defensive backs coach.  It wouldn't surprise me if McElwain goes after a coach with strong recruiting ties in Texas.

Tom Crean's terrific post-game speech (THIS is what makes coaching so awesome.)

Wake Forest: I have learned that Colorado State defensive backs / recruiting coordinator Tim Duffie has accepted a position on Jim Grobe's staff at Wake Forest.  That's #24.

Mercer: Sources tell me that former Colgate offensive line / recruiting coordinator Casy Vogt has accepted the offensive coordinator / offensive line job at Mercer University.

West Virgina: Holgorsen has released the titles for several coaches including Joe DeForest (co-defensive coordinator / safeties), Keith Patterson (co-defensive coordinator / linebackers), Shannon Dawson (offensive coordinator / wide receivers), and Daron Roberts (corners).  Also, Steve Dunlap now has the title of special teams coordinator / assistant head coach.  Holgorsen also announced that former manager and grad assistant Ryan Dorchester will serve as the recruiting coordinator.

Lehigh: Sources tell me that defensive line coach Donnie Roberts and defensive backs coach Gerard Wilcher will be promoted to co-defensive coordinators.

Valpo: Sources tell me that Northwood University offensive coordinator Tyson Silveus will join the Valpo staff as defensive backs coach.  Also, I have learned that Dayton wide receivers coach Alex Bailey has indeed accepted the same job at Valpo.

Cincinnati: I have learned that Cincinnati head coach Butch Jones has hired Holy Cross defensive coordinator Shannon Morrison to replace Kerry Coombs.  Morrison just recently joined the Holy Cross staff after serving as the corners coach at Memphis the last couple of years. We are now offically at 23 coaches that have accepted two different jobs in a matter of weeks this off-season.
