Black Hills State: Wyoming offensive grad assistant Nick Fulton has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Black Hills State.

William & Mary: I have learned that former Liberty University defensive coordinator Tom Clark has accepted the defensive backs job at William & Mary.

Slippery Rock University: The Citadel tight ends coach Raleigh Jackson has now officially accepted the linebackers job at Slippery Rock.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Head coach Mike Tomlin stated today that he made the decision to replace Bruce Arians with Todd Haley.  Tomlin reiterated the decision was his, not that of owner Art Rooney II.

New England Patriots: Former NFL quarterback Chris Simms will be joining the Patriots' staff as a coaching assistant.

New Orleans Saints: Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis are meeting today with Bill Parcells to talk about the interim head coaching job.

Marietta College (OH): Sources tell me former Northern Michigan defensive coordinator Randy Awrey has accepted the defensive coordinator at Marietta College.

James Madison: Tony LeZotte has been promoted to safeties coach.  Offensive coordinator Jeff Durden will shift from tight ends to quarterbacks. Durden will also serve as the play-caller.  Isai Bradshaw will take over the defensive line for J.C. Price, who recently joined the Marshall coaching staff.

Alabama: Nick Saban has received a contract extension through January 31, 2020.  If Saban completes the contract, he will earn $44.983 million, an average of $5.62 million per year.  Saban will earn $5.316 million this year, a $550,000 raise.  Kirby Smart has received a $100,000 raise to $950,000.  Mike Groh, Jeremy Pruitt, and Bobby Williams have received $35,000 raises.  Chris Rumph has received a $21,500 raise to $310,000. Burton Burns goes from $280,000 to $290,000.  Head strength coach Scott Cochran goes from $290,000 to $325,000.  New offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeir will be paid $590,000.

New Orleans Saints: ESPN is reporting that Sean Payton has approached Bill Parcells about coaching the Saints.

Blinn College: Sources tell me that former Missouri Southern defensive coordinator Mike Mutz has accepted the defensive coordinator / linebackers position at Blinn College.

Dartmouth: As previously reported here, Kevin Lewis has now officially joined Buddy Teevens' staff as defensive line coach.  Lewis previously served as the defensive line coach at Richmond.

Concord University (WV): Sources tell me that former North Alabama defensive coordinator Tony Pecoraro has joined the Concord University staff as defensive line coach.

Denver Broncos: Sources tell me that former defensive assistant, pro scout, and area scout Phil Armtas is no longer involved with the Broncos' organization.

Tennessee: Derek Dooley announced today that wide receivers coach Darin Hinshaw has added the title of recruiting coordinator.

Northwestern: Northwestern special teams quality control Harold Blackmon has accepted the head coaching job at St. Laurence HS (IL).

Rowan: Rowan offensive line / head strength coach Brian Wright has resigned to accept the head coaching job at Cherry Hill West HS in New Jersey.

New Hampshire: I have learned that former Campbell University defensive coordinator Art Link has accepted the linebackers job at New Hampshire.

Tennessee Titans: Former Tennessee Titans assistant special teams coach Marty Galbraith has accepted the head coaching job at Harrison HS (GA).

New Orleans Saints: Fox Sports is considering hiring Sean Payton as an analyst.
