This doesn't always happen in college football.

Chattanooga: I have just learned that Georgia strength & conditioning grad assistant Thomas Brown has accepted the runnung backs job at Chattanooga.

Indianapolis Colts: Chuck Pagano has retained Clyde Christiensen, but Christiensen will serve only as the quarterbacks coach. Bruce Arians is the new offensive coordiantor.

South Florida: Sources tell me that Skip Holtz is interviewing a candidate today for the wide receivers job.

Northwestern State (LA): Sources tell me that former Southeastern Louisiana assistant Matthew Powledge has accepted the running backs job. Jacob Simon will shift from running backs to wide receivers.

Weber State: I'm told that John L. Smith will round out his staff in the next several days.  Here are the coaches that have already accepted positions at Weber State: Eric Lewis (defensive backs), Jason Belford (defensive line), Justin Rascati (quarterbacks), Craig Stutzmann (wid receivers), Matt Hammer (offensive coordinator), Cecil Thomas (offensive line), Colton Swan (linebackers).

Kansas City Chiefs: New York Giants assistant offensive line coach Jack Bicknell III has accepted the offensive line job with the Chiefs.

Florida: I'm hearing Florida will have a new offensive line coach as early as today.  Over the weekend, I heard Muschamp had interest in South Carolina offensive line coach Shawn Elliott, but Elliott didn't want to leave South Carolina.  I am now hearing that Utah offensive line coach Tim Davis could be the guy.

Green Bay Packers: Former Tampa Bay Bucs quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt accepted the running backs job with the Packers.  Jerry Fontenot shifts from running backs to tight ends.  John Rushing will serve as an offensive / special teams assistant; while Joel Hilgenberg will serve as the assistant offensive line coach.
