Idaho: Source have informed me that Indiana State outside linebackers coach Eric Brown will join Paul Petrino's staff at Idaho.
7 D1 programs will count on first-time defensive coordinators in 2013
Michigan: Former director of football operations Bob Lopez has officially been named associate athletic director for football.
Virginia Tech: Director of recruiting and high school relations Jim Cavanaugh underwent surgery. We wish Jim a speedy recovery.
Florida: Outside / special teams coordinator Jeff Choate will earn a salary of $290,000. Meanwhile, according to the Orlando Sentinel, offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Brent Pease will receive a longevity bonus of $100,000 on January 31, 2014. The school has extended his contract through 2015 with a salary of $590,000. Offensive line coach Tim Davis has received a pay raise from $275,000 to $300,000. Tight ends coach Derek Lewis has received a pay raise from $190,000 to $215,000.
UNLV: Athletic director Jim Livengood will retire, effective June 30.
University of Mount Union: Head coach Larry Kehres will step down, but remain at the AD at Mount Union. Defensive coordinator Vince Kehres will be named as the new head coach. Larry Kehres had been at the helm of the program since 1986. His career included 11 national championships (1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012).
Rutgers: According to MyCentralJersey.com, three candidates have emerged for the AD position at Rutgers. The candidates include Wisconsin deputy AD Sean Frazier, Louisville executive senior associate AD Julie Hermann, and Fresno State AD Thomas Boeh. |
