Kevin Sumlin's team received a warm welcome upon their return to College Station on Saturday night after defeating #1 ranked Alabama 29-24 in Tuscaloosa.

With thousands of fans on hand waiting for the buses to arrive, Sumlin eventually grabbed a microphone and made a special day even more special for his senior wide receiver Ryan Swope.

Sumlin said, "This whole weekend started off on Thursday practice with Yell Practice.  Thanks for coming out.  Let me give you one of the big reasons we won tonight. (He's a) Senior, a guy all over the field, going up and down making great catches, taking hits, and making plays...RYAN SWOPE!"

Swope said, "I tweeted earlier that this is our last away game.  No better way to end it than in Alabama, beating the hell outta them!  Enjoy your night.  Be safe.  Gig'em Aggies!"
