Kingsbury increases Sonny Cumbie's salary by $50,000 |

Posted by: Pete Roussel on February 5, 2013 Talking about helping a brother out... Kliff Kingsbury has increased the salary for Sonny Cumbie by $50,000. Cumbie served as the outside receivers coach under former Texas Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville. In his new role under Kingsbury, Cumbie will serve as the co-offensive coordinator / outside receivers coach. His salary will also increase from $160,000 to $210,000, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. Co-offensive coordinator / inside receivers coach Eric Morris will earn the same salary of $210,000. The Kliff Kingsbury era opens in 2013 season at SMU. The Red Raiders will then host Stephen F. Austin, TCU, and Texas State. Wednesday will mark Kingsbury's first signing-class. Watch as Kingsbury says the fax machine will rejoice. --------------------------
