Talking about helping a brother out...

Kliff Kingsbury has increased the salary for Sonny Cumbie by $50,000.

Cumbie served as the outside receivers coach under former Texas Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville.  In his new role under Kingsbury, Cumbie will serve as the co-offensive coordinator / outside receivers coach.

His salary will also increase from $160,000 to $210,000, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.

Co-offensive coordinator / inside receivers coach Eric Morris will earn the same salary of $210,000.

The Kliff Kingsbury era opens in 2013 season at SMU.  The Red Raiders will then host Stephen F. Austin, TCU, and Texas State.

Wednesday will mark Kingsbury's first signing-class.

Watch as Kingsbury says the fax machine will rejoice.
