Posted by: Pete Roussel on July 1, 2012 Bruce Arians has finalized his coaching staff with the Arizona Cardinals. The staff consists of veteran NFL assistants and some coaches that will join the NFL ranks for the first time like Nick Rapone (Delaware), Kevin Garver (Alabama), Rick Christophel (Austin Peay), and Brentson Buckner (high school). Here's how the offensive side of the ball shapes up: Harold Goodwin (offensive coordinator), Tom Moore (assistant head coach - offense), Freddie Kitchens (quarterbacks), Larry Zierlein (assistant offensive line), Rick Christophel (tight ends), Darryl Drake (wide receivers), Kevin Garver (offensive assistant), Steve Heiden (assistant special teams / assistant tight ends), and Stump Mitchell (running backs). Amos Jones will serve as the special teams coordinator. Steve Heiden will assistant Jones with the special teams and serve as the assistant tight ends coach. Here's how the defensive side of the ball shapes up: Todd Bowles (defensive coordinator), Tom Pratt (pass rush specialist), Ryan Slowik (defensive assistant / assistant defensive backs), James Bettcher (outside linebackers), Brentson Buckner (defensive line), Mike Caldwell (linebackers), Nick Rapone (defensive backs), and Kevin Ross (corners). Arians was named NFL Coach of the Year on Saturday. Arizona has the seventh pick in the first-round on this 2013 NFL Draft. Some draft gurus think Matt Barkley or Mike Glennon could get the nod.
