Posted by: Pete Roussel on February 21, 2013 LSU announced earlier this week that new offensive coordinator Cam Cameron received a 3-year contract worth $3.4 million. The addition of Cameron means that LSU is likely to pay its entire offensive staff $2.26 million in 2013 and $3.02 million in 2014. The figures do not include potential bonuses. The offensive staff includes Cameron, running backs / recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson, tight ends coach Steve Ensminger, offensive line coach Greg Studrawa, and wide receivers coach Adam Henry. Wilson, who serves as the running backs coach / recruiting coordinator, received a significant pay raise last off-season after turning down an offer to become the offensive coordinator at Ole Miss under Hugh Freeze. The New Orleans Saints also talked with Wilson about their wide receivers job. Both Cameron and Wilson will earn $600,000 this year. 2013 2014 Earlier this off-season, LSU extended the contract of head coach Les Miles through the 2019 season. Miles will earn $4.3 million annually. Miles said that he'd been foolish to leave Baton Rouge. Last week, Cameron explained his plan as the new offensive coordinator of the Tigers. LSU will begin spring practice on March 14. ---------------------------
