Lane Kiffin has finalized his coaching staff, which includes four new assistant coaches and a couple of role changes for current assistants.

Gone from the 2012 staff are Monte Kiffin (defensive coordinator), Kennedy Polamalu (offensive coordinator / running backs), Scottie Hazleton (linebackers), and Marvin Sanders (defensive backs).

Former Arizona Cardinals running backs coach Tommie Robinson, Western Kentucky offensive line coach Mike Summers, Indiana co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Mike Ekeler, and former Cal defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast have joined the staff.

Kiffin has promoted quarterbacks coach Clay Helton to offensive coordinator, while John Baxter adds the responsibility of coaching the tight ends.

The reorganized staff includes:
Clay Helton (offensive coordinator / quarterbacks)
Tommie Robinson (running backs)
Tee Martin (wide receivers)
Mike Summers (offensive line)
James Cregg (offensive line)
John Baxter (tight ends / special teams coordinator / assoc. HC)
Clancy Pendergast (defensive coordinator)
Ed Orgeron (defensive line / recruiting coordinator)
Mike Ekeler (linebackers)

Remember, USC does not play Oregon next season.  The Trojans' schedule shapes up like this: at Hawaii, Wazzu, Boston College, Utah State, at Arizona State, Arizona, at Notre Dame, Utah, at Oregon State, at Cal, Stanford, at Colorado, UCLA.

The season-opener at Hawaii is a Thursday night game.  The Arizona game is also set for Thursday night in Los Angeles, while USC will play at Oregon State on a Friday night.

Lane Kiffin has not announced the start date for spring practice, but the spring game will be held on April 23.
