Temperatures were in the 20's this morning at 6 AM in Chapel Hill, North Carolina when Larry Fedora led his team through conditioning drills on the snow covered practice fields.

It was the start of "Blue Dawn," a winter conditioning period designed to set a new foundation for the UNC program.

It's a program with 9 new assistant coaches including Blake Anderson (offensive coordinator / quarterbacks), Gunter Brewer (wide receivers),  Randy Jordan (running backs), Chris Kapilovic (offensive line), and Walt Bell (tight ends) on the offensive side of the ball.

The defensive staff includes Vic Koenning (associate head coach for defense), Dan Disch (defensive coordinator), Deke Adams (defensive line), and Dave Duggan (linebackers).

If you have time, here's the video of the Tar Heels' conditioning drills.

If not, at least check out the dress shirt tight ends coach Walt Bell is wearing in his profile bio. Nice!

By the way, does anyone else think Dan Disch looks like Rick Reilly?

UNC will play their Spring game on April 14th at 3pm ET.
